Withdraw manuscript

Agricultural Power Journal (APJ) expects authors to carefully consider their decision before submitting a manuscript. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, is not under consideration by another journal, and that all authors have approved its submission.

Withdrawal Before Publication

Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication by submitting a formal written request to the Editor. The request should state the reason for withdrawal and, where applicable, be signed or approved by all authors.

Withdrawal requests made during peer review will be considered by the Editor. Authors are discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts without a valid reason after the review process has commenced, as peer reviewers and editorial staff have already committed time and resources to the evaluation of the manuscript.

If withdrawal is requested because the manuscript has been accepted or published by another journal, the Editor may investigate the matter as a potential case of simultaneous submission or duplicate publication.

Withdrawal After Acceptance

Withdrawal of a manuscript after acceptance will only be considered for legitimate and clearly stated reasons. The Editor may require an explanation from the authors before approving the request.

Where applicable, any reasonable administrative or processing costs associated with withdrawal will be communicated to the authors in advance. Any applicable fee will not be used to prevent authors from reporting or correcting legitimate errors, research misconduct, or ethical concerns.

Withdrawal After Publication

Once an article has been published, it is considered part of the permanent scholarly record and cannot normally be withdrawn. If a serious error, ethical issue, or publication misconduct is identified after publication, APJ will follow its Correction and Retraction Policy and may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction as appropriate.

Withdrawal Procedure

Withdrawal requests must be submitted officially to the journal and should include:

• manuscript title;

• manuscript identification or submission number;

• names of all authors;

• corresponding author's contact information;

• reason for withdrawal; and

• confirmation or approval from all authors, where applicable.

The Editor will review the request and communicate the decision to the corresponding author.

APJ encourages authors to communicate openly with the editorial team and to follow responsible publication practices throughout the submission and publication process. Any suspected violation of publication ethics will be handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.
