Correction and Retraction

Manuscripts published in Smart Yields in Systems, Technology, Engineering, and Modeling (SYSTEM) may be considered for retraction under the following circumstances:

  1. There is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, due to gross errors (e.g., miscalculations or experimental errors), fabrication (e.g., falsified data), or falsification (e.g., manipulated images).

  2. The manuscript involves plagiarism.

  3. The findings have been previously published elsewhere without proper attribution, disclosure to the editor, permission to republish, or valid justification (i.e., redundant or over-publication).

  4. The manuscript contains material or data used without proper permission.

  5. There is a violation of copyright or other serious legal issues (e.g., defamation, privacy violations).

  6. The research reported is unethical.

  7. The manuscript was published based on a compromised or manipulated peer review process.

  8. The author failed to disclose any major competing interests (conflicts of interest) that could unduly influence the interpretation of the work or the editorial and peer review process.

Retraction serves to maintain the integrity, reliability, and ethical standards of publications in Smart Yields in Systems, Technology, Engineering, and Modeling (SYSTEM).
