Article Submission and Publication Policies
Originality Requirement
Authors may submit articles to the Structural Insights in Planning and Infrastructure Leadership (SIPIL) only if the article has never been published in another journal, repository, or online platform.
After Submission
Once an article is submitted to SIPIL, authors are allowed to share or post preprint or display versions of their manuscript as it appears on the journal’s website.
After Acceptance
If an author has previously posted a version of the article on any external website, they are required to replace it with the accepted version from SIPIL. No other modifications are permitted after acceptance.
After Publication
Upon publication, any previously posted versions must include a complete citation of the article as published in SIPIL, including the DOI. Authors must replace the accepted version with the final published version from the journal to ensure proper citation and integrity of the record.
