Withdraw manuscript

Authors are not permitted to withdraw manuscripts after submission, as submitting the manuscript indicates an agreement that it is not under consideration or in the process of being reviewed by another journal. Editors and reviewers devote significant time and effort to evaluate submitted manuscripts, and the publisher incurs costs in the process.

If an author requests the withdrawal of a manuscript during the peer-review process, a withdrawal fee of IDR 1,000,000 per manuscript will be imposed. Withdrawal is permitted if the manuscript is accepted by another journal, but in such cases, the fee still applies.

If a manuscript is withdrawn after acceptance for publication, the author will be charged a withdrawal fee of IDR 2,000,000 per manuscript. Manuscript withdrawal will only be processed after full payment of the withdrawal fee has been received by the publisher.

To request a withdrawal, authors must submit an official letter to the journal, signed by all co-authors, providing valid reasons that can be accepted by the editorial board. This ensures transparency and accountability in the publication process.

Authors who refuse to pay the withdrawal fee will be prohibited from submitting or publishing in Structural Insights in Planning and Infrastructure Leadership (SIPIL) in the future.

By adhering to these policies, we aim to foster a culture of ethical publishing and uphold academic integrity in the field of Civil Engineering.
