Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Structural Insights in Planning and Infrastructure Leadership (SIPIL) will first be processed by the Editorial Team. The editor will verify the completeness of the manuscript in accordance with the author guidelines and assess the suitability of the manuscript with the journal’s focus and scope in the field of Civil Engineering.

Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements will be forwarded to peer reviewers. The review process is conducted using a double-blind review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is reviewed by two independent reviewers who evaluate the scientific quality, originality, and substantive content of the manuscript.

Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor will make a decision to accept the manuscript, request revisions, or reject the submission. If revisions are required, the reviewers’ comments will be communicated to the authors for improvement. The editor will then assess the revised manuscript and determine whether further revision or re-review is necessary until a final decision is reached.
