Correction and Retraction

Manuscripts published in the Smart International Management Journal (SIMJ) will be considered for publication retraction if:

  1. They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of gross error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error), or as a result of fabrication (e.g. data) or falsification (e.g. image manipulation).
  2. It is plagiarism
  3. Findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper attribution to previous sources or disclosure to the editor, permission to republish, or justification (i.e., a case of over-publication)
  4. Contains material or data without permission to use
  5. Copyright has been violated or there is some other serious legal issue (e.g. defamation, privacy)
  6. Report unethical research
  7. Has been published solely on the basis of a compromised or manipulated peer review process
  8. The author failed to disclose any major competing interests (conflicts of interest) that, in the editor's view, would unduly influence the interpretation of the work or recommendations by the editor and peer reviewers
